Time Line: Billionaire Champagne - L.A. to Tokyo

I. "Runaway"
- Charlotte ruturns home from a night out with her only friend, Gwen, she's talking to Gwen about how she wants to just fly away and Gwen brushes her off as "weird " and "a freak" this leaves Chara sad. She ponders the nights events as she makes her way to her room, and then she hears it, her father calling her. She tries to ignore it, but can't he verbally abuses her and then attacks her when she breaks a beer bottle, he makes her clean it with her bare hands and stomps her into the glass fragments, she freaks out because of the blood and he yells as her more, however now he's kicking her everywhere he can, it happens so fast Chara becomes numb and feeling her teeth against her tounge try to call out for help only to find that she's gagging on her blood, that's when the hitting stops, her brother and mother are restraining her dad, she crawls out of the kitchen, as her mther tells her to "run." Chara manages to get into her room as she hears her father calling after her all kinds of insults, her brother knocks on her door just as she's gathering the few things on her dresser and she cuts the window screen open with a razor she's hidden under one of her pillows, she jumps out and out the back door fence and runs down her street not stopping, suddenly she trips and realizes that she's near the bus station, she runs to the on coming bus managing to get on it. The bus driver see's that she's a bloody mess and even though she has no money he lets her on. Chara silently sobs as the bus takes her to the last stop, a bus stop by the beach shore in Venice. The old bus driver gives her a twenty and tells her to go to clinic a block away. She agrees that she will, and she thanks him, she gets off however and heads directly to the water's shore, looking at the faint colours as the last ounce of sun is left she collapses on the beach. In her dream she's on a beach just like this one, and she's holding a hand, looking to a faceless figure, but there's something strange about his eyes, they shy away from her, and she says something.
    - "Modette kuru." Charlotte wakes up to a beeping noise in a white room, is it here that she meets a friend of her sister, and also Tomo, whom is her doctor's little brother and works as his assistant and a physical therapist. While caring for Chara they become friends, when Tomo tells her that he's in a band and going to tour at the end of the month they exchange e-mails, he asks Chara on a date but they cancel it because Charlotte's sister comes to visit her, Tomo leaves promising to e-mail Chara. Chara's sister tells her what happened after she left, their brother called the cops but her mother played it off as a joke, they took to the streets looking for Chara, asking her friends, thinking you might have taken a bus they filled a missing person's report, but that's when her friend called her and told her that Chara was just admitted to their hospital in Los Angeles, her mother and brother came to visit her, but she'd been in a indused coma because of the medication to fight the infection of the salty sand in her cuts. It was agreed that Chara was going to be pulled out of school and would stay with her sister's friend, because she was never really home and wanted a house sitter they agreed, she would also be enrolled into a GED program since she was pulled from school, and she brought a few things for her to get by on. Since he sister's friend was also hers it worked out but the first few days at the house Chara go bored and she started looking for a job she could do with her ribs cast on, so she began walking her neighboors dogs, then found a job at a laundry place a few blocks away from the apartment in koretown, it was across from the trendy asian shopping center. This is where she meets Seiko.
        - Charlotte gets a job at a laundry place a few blocks away from 's Apartment, it is here that she meets someone who  she often see's at the record store across from, Shou.
            - Emily and Charlotte have been hitting it off great and Emily decides to throw a party at a kareoke bar for her Cousin's birthday, Seiko.  here Charlotte and Seiko meet, at first Seiko thinks she's just a push over leeching off Emily, even making a point that the share she pitches in for the apartment barely covers the water bill, this makes Charlotte hurt, but after Karaoke Seiko changes her mind about Charlotte, because her voice is filled with a tragically beautiful pitch that takes her breath away, she saves to Chara apologizes and asks her if she wanted to be in her band. Charlotte writes it off but Seiko comes everyday pestering her, Finally Emily tells Charlotte to give it a try, she does.
               -  It's been about three months now and Seiko and Charlotte come to be good friends, Seiko also attends the music college, guitar and composition, even though she is the same age as Charlotte she admits her dad "helps" her out a lot. It is by now that Charlotte frequently see's the light haired asian guy come into the laundry place to buy drinks, he even asks her for change once even thoguh the machine takes dollars, he's strange she notes.  It is then that Seiko invites Charlotte to a concert with her friend, Shou, they walk across to the record store, and it is here that Charlotte notices her favorite band playing over the PA, it makes her somehow feel... at home, and it is here that she meets Shou, the guy who frequentts the mat.
                         - Seiko admits they need more member for their band which practice concludes of her playign guitar and Charlotte singing Loversoul covers. It is then that Charlotte recieves a call on her phone, her friend Tomo is playing a show in a few days and wants her to attend,  they go and after watching him play Seiko bluntly asks him to join their band, Tomo is skeptical, but after Seiko makes her sing for him, he admits he was going to disband after that last show, and agrees, but will need a week, his other motive to move back to Los Angeles is because his brother a plastic surgeon is going to be embarking on a mission to Africa to help children with cleff palettes and bombing victims, he and his wife will leave Tomo in charge of their house since she has no siblings and Tomo is avaliable.
                              - The time had come and Charlotte has recieved a voice message from her sister, after her phone died she's not gotten a replacement battery but checks her messages, her sister tells her that she wants to know where she is as she's gotten a new job in Pasadena hospital, she wants Charlotte to come live with her, they meet, and eventually have a chat about what happened after she left, Chara says she doesn't wanna live with her, because she doesn't want the possibility of seeing that man again. After a lot of convincing Astrid agrees, her sister, but tells her she will help her ONLY if she gets her GED. She signs her up for the program and sends her home with the required study guides and sets her test date 6 months from that day.  Studying and working, and practicing, Seiko surprises her yet again by asking her cousin Erin to join the band, he's been in many bands but Seiko asks him to play a show with them, the first gig at Tomo's place.
                                 - It is here where the Halloween gig happens, Tomo invites many bands to play, they will close, and it is here where Charlotte sets up Erin's drumset only to find a long haired guy smashing her face into a symbol and  shoving the idiot off of her, he tries to apologize but she just walks away angry. Her face now cut Seiko helps her out and officially introduces her to the idiot, whom upon looking at his eyes, falls in love...but she doesn't recognize the feeling, not really knowing it before.  he is also drawn to her, and Shou is also in the band, he immediately chatters away with Chara, but he quickly retreats to his gf Karin. The shows goes by great, except for when Charlotte's voice fails a few times, but closing with a loversoul cover, the crowd receive them well, it is here that  Haruka pursues Charlotte, they talk all that night until 1 am, where he asks Charlotte if he will sing properly next time, she tells him she wouldn't grace him with that delicacy, and he laughs, and they part as friends.  Things are looking up for a girl who didn't listen to the voice in side her head, but the voice inside her heart, and ran away.

II. "Rhapsody"
    - Haruka begins to visit Charlotte at the Laundrymat after the show he has often been doing this, and it's making Charlotte feel strange, he is a college student and living in an apartment with Shou and Saga. They are one of the few bands in Los Angeles that has a huge following outside of L.A. they play many shows in which Haruka often looks her way when he's playing, they gradually become friends talking after gigs, and he bringing her lunch at the laundry place, helping her study for her GED tests, they get to know about eachothers lives, he tells her about how he came to Los Angeles and how he was born in Hokkaido, about his father's suicide, and his father's family tasking him and his mother in in America, his green eyes, and his friendships and relationships. Charlotte however doesn't tell him about her past, she avoids the subject whenever she can.
           - Charlotte and Seiko move in with Tomo after Emily moves to Korea, Seiko not wanting to go and determined to finish her college year decides to stay, she moves in with them in hopes that her dad will worry. Charlotte's sister comes to pick her up for her exam, she meets Haruka when he picks her up from work, he introduces himself as Charlotte's boyfriend, Chara denies this but her sister doesn't buy it, she takes them both out and takes Charlotte with her as the exam will be near their old home. Chara see's her mom who gives her some of her old things, and bids her to keep in touch with her, she promises and Charlotte is left the GED test with a promise that a letter will come.
-Glorious Jane becomes an internet sensation with their promotional videos of them doing Lover Soul covers, both bands are interviewed for a local Jrock Indie Radio show in which Glorious Jane gains even more attention from fans across the country and even in Japan, this comes as a great shock as they are invited to open for another local band who is more well known in the underground Jrock scene. Shou makes it clear that he write some of the lyrics to his songs with Charlotte's Help to boost some buzz for Zetsubou Nation, which works since his lyrics are a great topic of discussion.  After the interview both bands go out to celebrate at a ramen place with Jrock memorobilia named "Batsu Batsu!" here Haruka appologizes for what he said infront of her sister, she tells him it's ok, but why did he say that? He admitts that he likes her a lot, and asks her to a concert of a band that is coming up, "just give me a chance," he says, she hides her feelings for him and agrees to the show, they continue to have a good time with the rest of the gang, and just as they are leaving Shou asks Charlotte to go with him to see the same band, this takes her by surprise, when asked why her Shou admits that he had an extra ticket and knew she liked the band, she nervously says she's already got her own ticket for the show, and turns him down politely.  He tells Saga about this who reminds him he has a girlfriend, and to leave her alone, "she's not one of your hero worship groupies" to which Shou says he didn't think of her that way, only to be made to keep this secret when Haruka announces that he's taking her to the concert. It is here when Shou begins to write songs for Charlotte in hopes that she will look at him.  The chapter ends with Haruka and Shou talking about their highschool days and how to Haruka it feels like "the tide is finally in our favor."
                - Charlotte looses her job at the laundry mat when it is demolished for a parking space, this strikes her hard since they need to pay the very expensive rent at the end of the month, Tomo working at a guitar school and Seiko as an undertaker is already bringing in barely enough to cover the rent, Charlotte usually payed for the utilities but after hanging out with Glorious Jane Saga tells her that they are getting new staff at really upscale venues that she should look into it, he gives her the ad and she calls immiditately, after this the concert is the next day and she meets up with Haruka at the crack of dawn, not having work and him taking a break from school and work they wait in line all day talking and getting sunburned, then it happens a few hours before opening Shou see's them in the crowd as he walks from the front of the line to the back, during the concert Haruka protects Charlotte from a violent memberin the crowd who is removed, embracing her with the excuse that it was for her protection, but she puts he hands on his and they sing along for the rest of the show, at the end the band decides to surprise the crowd and sell their own merch, this drives the fans wild and as they all rush past to the merch table charlotte Falls over and is almost trampled Haruka manages to pick her up and protects her by putting her between him and a wall as the pushing crowd pressed on him his maintains her safety by his arms and doesn't let them hurt her.  to eachother as the lead singer does and the rest of the crowd, what they don't know is that Shou is in that crowd as well,he see's this and leaves the show early. From this moment Chara and Haruka's Relationship begins.
                    - Charlotte gets the job at the venue but it's weekends only the pay is minimul but it will help with the bills. At this point the bands sign up to participate in another battle of the bands, this time for a major label and cash prize involved, the entry fee is $100 for each band, they go through a lot of random stuff furing this point including being kicked out of their apartment which bring them to the Garden Square Living Pots. This is the place that they turn upside down and the place in which Chara and Haruka move in together. Tomo decides to live with Saga and Nao , Shou has his own room which he planned to rent with Haruka, but they surprised them, Seiko decides to move into Her Family's town house, her step mother offers her help which she takes after failing to graduate, whichs crushes her, but she  says she'll just have to focus on music then now that school is no longer holding her back. She goes to work on creating a studio in the town house that they can use, only on the condition that Seiko join her step mom on all types of tidius things like shopping and going to the Spa.
Charlotte gets used to her new job selling tickets and merchandise sometimes helping out backstage when thye are short handed. In the meanwhile her life with Haruka is changing she still has a month before her results come via mail, and Haruka is studying for his finals, and on one night he takes Chara to the observatory where he shows her constellations and Finally Saturn, here she tells him that his eyes are just like saturns with the different colors, he jokes that if she ever gets lost to find him on Saturn.  They essentially fall in love and the group jokes at their expense, Shou remains a good friend to both Haruka and Charlotte and admits to her that he misses eating lunch with her to which she makes up for it by making him a cake for his birthday.  At this point Charlotte tells the reader that she never let someone dig as deeply into her life as Haruka, and that she's afraid that things are too good to be true, though she's barely surviving, she can feel a cold wind from the East.
Time passes and the time for the battle of the band, a lot of things happen in one week alone, preparing for it, apperaing on an online radio show with the other bands, and the sponsors pick and chose which bands will be performing according to their recordings that they submitted. They have an adventure as Seiko gets them a drummer last minute in her cousin Erin who just arrived from the airport a day earlier,

Part one:
We meet charlotte
through her we see the following:
- her move to Los Angeles
- the begining of Zestubou Nation
-flashbacks from before she moved, and the reason she did

- This is where they really bond, and Haruka realizes how much he loves Charlotte but is very afraid to tell her this as he thinks that will scare her.
- their lives continue, and suddenly Glorious Jane wins a battle of the bands a scout from a big record label offers them a test contract they take it and move to Japan. Haruka and Charlotte put their relationship on a pause, as Haru calls it. Realizing they are never going to see eachother again Charlotte tells him that they should break up, Haruka refuses, but agrees after Chara tells him "I have dreams too" They break up sadly, and on the way to the airport they solemn talk, she sings to sing, even as his plane takes off she sings to him, his "favorite song" she gets chased by a weirdo and leaves the airport early.

The glass is Broken.

The crashing waves must've woken me up, and there I saw that I had slept on the beach, a blanket wrapped around me, and something warm beside me, but it wasn't something it was a person. I looked up to see them, awake , looking out to the sea, the morning light behind the clouds and amber colours shown into his retinas, and I saw the colour I never thought I'd see again. Hazel eyes, looked out from those milky eyelids, his coarse hair now greying in some areas, and subtle stubble that had been recently shaved, he looked thinner, and a little bigger yet, and still his scent was the same as last night, and I thought I might have died, but surely, I anxious took his hand and held it with mine, and it was there, the ring. "H-H-..?" He looked down to me and grinned, "You thirsty?" I shook my head and it hit me there in my heart that warm luaghter, "Haruka?" He leaned over and kissed my hair, "You're just like you used to be, I thought that maybe when you passed out last night you might've not been expecting me, but I couldn't stay away from you any longer," I noticed that his arm was around me because he pulled me in closer to him, and my body reacted before my mind, my arms warpped around him, clinging to his ribs, and yes, he was thinner. My head against his chest, and there was that familiar beating, thump....thump thump....thump.
"I don't understand this" I elt out, "I thought you were...gone, I looked everywhere, I never stopped looking, but then, your jacket..." He seemed to know what I was talking about because he wasn't surprised. "Yeah, i heard, but I'm glad you had to stop, I'm sorry I never told you, but now is when you need to know." I pulled away from him and looked into his eyes, What is he saying? I don't understand this either and yet a small piece in my heart is telling me I am about to be angry with him for a reason I can't comprehend. "About a year before the tsunami, remember, my sister?" I nodded, "yeah, Marissa, she's still in a coma." He nodded. "Well, I saw how her husband lost everything and everyone he knew because he wouldn't leave her side, and then his money ran out, and the family helped him, but that's all he did for the rest of his life until he died that year, remember?" I was piecing it together in my mind, and yeah, it made me mad, I nodded, but he could see the anger in my eyes now, because he looked away, the way he always did when he knew I'd scold him, and then my heart sank again, because he was there to feel my anger, and to feel bad, yes, Haruka Amano is alive. I hesistated though, because I need to hear the rest of his story. "I knew that, if that ever happened to either of us, I would be okay loosing everything, but you, I couldn't take away from the world like that, and I know you, I know you would never leave me." That is true. "So I thought of how, and if that ever happened to me, a coma, or something worse, that you wouldn't have to make any decision or even know that I was half-alive. I thought of whom I could trust other than you in that situation, and only one name came up, Shou. Who else would love you enough to know what that could do to you, well fate has funny ways of sticking it to us, because that's happened. I remember I was chasing after Bou, he was so scared, but I put him back into the car, and then a woman lost her son under some debry and asked for help, I locked the twins in the car and went to help her, because you know if that was my kid I'd want help too. I felt the tide coming back in but the kid was screaming, I managed to get the boards off of him, but I couldn't save him, the second wave came back and threw my head agaisnt something hard, and that's all I can remember. When i woke up a six months ago, the first person I saw was a nurse, she walked in, and her eyes lit up, and said she was calling my friend back, the one who comes to see me every weekend. I thought that maybe it was you, and I was roubled, but then I saw Shou, and I knew I did the right thing. He was beside himself, and gave me a hug that nearly crushed my bones, the doctor came in and began to tell us that it was predicted I could wake up during this year, and then they told me, I was sleeping for 17 years. I couldn't believe it, I asked for a mirror, and I recognized myself, I thought I'd be all planet of the apes looking, but they told me my friends took good care of me, Shou, Seiko, and Saga, they were the only ones who knew. I wanted to see you right away, but I needed them to tell me everything before I could intrude on your life." I looked away from him then because I knew that he knew about everything, and I was ashamed. "You have daughter," I nodded, "Yeah, Layla." I looked up at him, but he wasn't sad, he was still grinning, that type of smile that was warm and mellow in him, my heart remembered it, and loved him for it. He pulled me close to him, "I'm glad, I always wanted you to have a daughter." I shook my head though, "She's not really mine, you know that don't you?" "I know that you gave her to her father because you weren't able to care for her then, but I hear that you guys are seeing more of eachother now, you did the right thing, I know Shou doesn't blame you." So he knows he's her father, "Did he tell you?" I asked a bit nervously, "No, I met her, she told me, she was very anxious to meet me, she said, 'Mom says the real reason my dad and real mom aren't together is because real mom doesn't love dad, that she feels guilty about me and dad towards you, won't you tell her it's okay, so that you think it's okay for her to love me too?'" That hit my heart, because I knew Haruka was hurting behind his smile, no matter what he said, I stopped thinking and held him closer. "I'm sorry, after you were gone, i went a bit insane, they took the twins from me, and I swear I could see you, I could hear you singing to me like you used to do, and, and then you were everything I cared about, the twins got so thin, and I couldn't even see them, I tried to take care of them, but I just couldn't. When Shou took care of me, I could swear that you were so like eachother,k it was like you were there with me, and when I found out I was carrying Layla, I knew it wrong, I will always feel wrong about Shou, because I used him, and he loved me so purely. I'm sorry, Layla was taken from me because I slit my wrists with a broken mirror, if Shou hadn't broken down the closet door to get to me, we would have both died. I was unfit, so Shou legally took her away from me, and I let him, because she always felt like his, not mine" .  Of course, it all makes sense now, how I was unable to bond with my own baby, now the baby is a teenager capable of understanding human emotion and behavior. I wonder if all the trauma I endured, if it passed on to her. "She looks just like you Charls, same eyes, face, some of Shou is in there, but she's yours without a doubt".
I swallowed the lump on my throat and for the first time, I felt the judgment pass over me. " What have I done?" I broke down in tears again, he held me close but he continued talking calmly.

"Ever since that day, in my sleep, in my mind, I've only ever thought of getting back to you, I thought I was dead, that the dreams I had of you were my afterlife, I was the twins grow, I saw you grow, we lived on this hill at the ends of the universe and we chased the stars together. I'm sorry I...I'm sorry that I was away for such a a long time, but I'm happy that you still made a life, even if it wasn't as happy as I wanted for you, at least you lived your life that's what I always wanted."

A Billion Starry Nights. With you. Right Here.

They sparkled in the sky, the lights, the stars, and I chased after you but their sparkle distracted me. The cold sand rustled against the coming tide and I stopped there staring up at them, the meteor showers, coming down like some kind of magical illusion made to keep my eye on the sky unaware of anything else. That's how I feel about you, so my eye dropped and there you were, that beautiful girl with the fiery eyes, and the eyes glimmered as you looked up at the same skies, but to me, you looked like you were sparkling too, the shower was everywhere and on this beach coming out of the very horizon. That's when I knew that we've met before, that's why it had to be you, and it's always been you.  What lives have we lived before, and what trials had we faced? Did you love me as much as you do now, or was your love surpassing mine in another life? What color were your eyes? Surely aquamarine, they must have been, and what of your life, did you suffer too? even worse? Did I suffer worse?

I make my way across the sand to you and you catch me in your vision and turn to see me, you smile, and tell me "Look up, it's beautiful" but I don't need to look up, because you're beautiful and though I want to tell you, and though I want you to know what I'm thinking, I lock it inside myself, and just give you a kiss before you turn back to the skies, and you kiss me with a tender passion not deeply but heartily and I feel that what I was thinking is true. We've met before, on some other place, in another time, in another life, living different lives, and surely we will continue to meet again, and again, until the black hole eats everything, perhaps, even then.

These tides are catching, and in them Chara pulls away from me and tries to catch a star, but realizing it's miles away she sighs and runs after it instead, intently, I run after her, because I know that when she's like this, it isn't the fading meteor she's chasing, it's something much more fragile than that. I catch her as the tears set, and she kisses me, deeply this time, because she needs to forget the memory and I kiss her and press my nose into hers, because it makes her feel safe.  Wrapping her arms around me not letting go, I carry her the rest of the way up the hill, watching the stars and the rising sun, she sings to me, about catching a star, and flying through space, words of love that have no ending and a happiness of water seeping through her hair which she imagined to be made of wood.
'Would Charlotte have fallen for me in another universe even if I wasn't there?' I wondered about this sometimes when I was younger, because I had no intention of dating girls, the gay kids in school thought I was one of them and so a lot of my friends were gay, but I just... felt, like my heart was full, and I couldn't explain this invisible love to anyone, and when girl's confessed to me and then asked "is it because you have a girlfriend?" I'd tell them, "I don't know, but there's someone." I tried to explain it to the guys, but only Shou understood what I meant , he said that, "It's as if you're only waiting to meet her, but your feelings are settled, and any doubts are settled, and when you see her, you'll only feel empty, because she's so close and you'll realize she isn't in your heart like you thought she was."
That is how I feel about Charlotte, I lay her down to sleep and she pulls me in and I lay down with her, one of her hand's over my ear, my other ear over her heart, and I let the steady beating lull me to sleep. When she's like this, I know she's thinking of that pain, because stars aren't just burning helium suspended in space, to her, she believes we all came from the same place, like me.  That all sadness and happiness exist because they have to, there are no endings because we who are fortunate to have a consciousness exist, and that we exist and are able to know each other, that to me is a miracle.
Charlotte, she wants to retrace her steps, back to when the dust made the decision to make her father hate her. Bending the particles by the slightest would have changed this, and in changing it, she wouldn't be pained everyday when she see's a happy mother and child, a little girl. I sometimes wonder what life would have been like if Sylvia was born, if she hadn't chosen to depart before she'd gotten here, if the blood hadn't stained on us both a pain that is sometimes unbearable. Chara wants to try again, even though Sylvia wasn't planned, but I'm not ready for that. If this next time is the same, if as the doctor told her when she was carrying Masake's child, is true and that chances of her carrying a full term pregnancy are under 30%, how many more ashes will she scatter over Hakodate Bay? I look at her now succumbing to sleep, and wonder as I often do about her. If her father had not almost killed her that night, If I hadn't gotten tired of that party and gone to the beach, if that bus driver hadn't been kind to her and taken her all the way to the last stop, if she hadn't slept on the shore, if I hadn't noticed her and kept walking, then where would our lives have been?
I came alive when I met her, I wonder the exact words that come into her head when she thinks of me, even after all these years I still wonder.
I kiss her arm before sleep takes me, and I'm off again beside her, in my dream we're on the beach again, chasing her, but she stares into the skies and runs after a star she's walking on air and I try to chase after her but she's too far and I'm not as good as she is at waking on air, she's flying from me. I call out to her "Mars" and she turns around, the star in her hand drops, and she's right there infront of me, no longer light years away, "Saturn," she whispers, and then we're there again in space and we're on Saturn dancing on the rings, the tiny pebbles taking us around and around as the piano music makes it's way into my head, like the light steps she dances to, and I'm lost in this unimaginable happiness, and I know that whether by the hand of fate or not, I would have met her, no matter where she was, or how many years passed in this era, I would have found her.

"It's raining again," what a disappointment, we were supposed to take a plane to Tokyo in the morning but we woke up late as usual. Chara made me some breakfast , really the only thing she can make a sandwhich with eggs and green onions, we'd usually order in, but the weather is really bad and the only food she likes are from the shops down by the shore. "I really wanted shrimp too, oh well." she sighs, I offer to make her some but the frozen shrimp would take hours to defrost, "maybe if we put it on the stove?" she suggests, apperantly not taking my excuses for answers, I put water in a pan and place the package of frozen shrimp inside it, bringing the flame down to a simmer and she prepares her other specialty brown rice. Which is a mixed the package broth and rice inside the cooker, I can't help but laugh at how the "voice of our generation" as Shoxxer Roxxer called her has never even learn to cook a home made meal, everything instant and here's a perfect example of that.
I take my eyes off her though because the trees are hitting the windows, the storm is getting worse,
"I don't think we'll be able to make it back to Tokyo tomorrow, I'm going to call in, you should too." "Got it," I heard her talking to Emily, I just texted Saito, he said he'd get me on a ferry but I had to get back tomorrow, which upset me some, Chara had the rest of the week off, but I did have a fan meeting at the Shibuya Tribute center and the guys would hate me if I didn't show. "I have to get back tomorrow," I called out, silence. "Chara?"  "I heard you," she said sullenly, I turned the stove off as the water was boiling and walked over to her. "Saito's not letting me off the hook, I have to get there tomorrow, " just then a thunder bolt roared, "no matter what?" she asked, "yeah," she took my hand and began to analyze it, "but, we haven't even tried yet, I was really hoping that, we could try." She put her cheek in my palm and instinctively I ran my thumb over her lips, she never really wears make up,  but still her mouth is soft, and though we're never particularly pawing over each other it's a bit hard to stop when she lets me make an advance, ignoring the constant texts I keep getting and the storm outside I let her know exactly much I've been hungering for this we make our way to the bedroom and my body reacts to her taking her clothes off, her skin on mine, and she's all mine

Sometimes she bites me, but usually that only happens in the city after heafty helpings of alcohol or after she's been on stage The fire in her eyes comes out when she's performing, it's like she transforms into this Siren, but today the fire is there, no biting, and I love her body as much as she lets me.
I leave her on the couch clutching on a pillow at 3 in the morning, the storm subsided and I got a text from Taka that I should take the bullet train leaving in 45 minutes, I already got a ticket, I gather my things and put my clothes on running upstairs for a leather rain jacket, and find a small box in the shoe rack. It long and tied with a yellow-green ribbon, a card on it reading my name, I take the card off and undo the ribbon. Inside the box was a pair of necklaces, but in the box, they appeared together, Mars and Saturn, it almost looked like a Vivienne Westwood piece, but it wasn't. I wonder how she made it, I took it in my hand and twisted the figures, they came unhooked and swung into two necklaces, one in gold chain and one in silver chain. I put them back into the case as I hear her sturring, and don't want her to find me peeking at her things. I grab my jacket and head out the door, I'll send her a message later when the ringing wont bother her, the lights are coming from the city and in them I catch my car coming for me down the winding road to my universe, I turn to the house wishing I was still sleeping in that bed beside her, I sigh. "I'll be missing you, my only soul."

// "Until I see you again..."

Growing, I noticed the feeling was different. Arising from the east, the great blue curtain began to rise, between the smoke and the darknes...
