I look over my shoulder as Nana chatters on to her friends about this thing or that thing or about what this person said to whom about whom. Taking a drink of my beer I sigh and turn my attention back to her, back to this life, that I can't leave, not yet anyways. I excuse myself and head to the bar, the only way to withsand it is to drink, but I have to be careful not to get drunk, I instruct the bar tend to throw out half of the beer in the bottle he looks at me strangely but does as I asked and pours in cold water.
